| Radon
Construction Corp. is indeed one of Long Island's entrepreneurial
success stories. Ray Abruzzese began his company in a small office
in Hauppauge with three employees. Just three years later, Radon relocated
to its current 2,600 sq. ft. state-of-the-art headquarters and showroom
at 33 Comac Loop in Ronkonkoma. With an expanded staff, Radon Construction
Corp. forged ahead to participate in some of its most memorable construction
projects: Fairchild Republic Airport, Brookhaven National Laboratory,
the Federal Express Distribution Center in Ronkonkoma as well as numerous
automotive dealerships throughout Long Island, Country Volvo in Huntington,
Ford in Levittown, the Country Lincoln Mercury showroom and service
center in Huntington, and the Mercedes and BMW dealerships in Southampton,
Riverhead Toyota among many others.
Ray
Abruzzese also knew that in order for Radon to succeed and remain
competitive, the company needed to diversify in its construction
talent to use a wide array of building products and techniques to
accommodate varying client specifications. Today he continues to
emphasize that although his company carries the Butler name and
product line, Radon's expertise and scope is not limited to the
use of pre-engineered steel products. "Radon is a design build (turnkey)
contractor as well as a general contractor. Our company is equipped
to perform anything from small alterations to award winning multimillion-dollar
construction projects."
